SEWER DEPARTMENT:
Seaford's Sewer department is responsible for maintaining and repairing approximately 40 miles of sewer main with around 2,500 service connections within the collection system. Included in the collection system are fifteen (15) sewage pumping stations and a gravity collection system that flows to the Seaford Wastewater Treatment Facility on the Nanticoke River. Seaford also accepts and treats all of the sewage from the County owned system in our neighboring community of Blades, Bridgeville and Greenwood.
