Speed Change Advisory

The current speed limit of 25 mph in the Pine St./Arch St. area will be changing to 15 mph beginning April 26, 2021 as approved by City Council at the December 8th, 2020 Council Meeting. These streets are City maintained streets, which gives City Council the governance to set the speed limits on them. Streets Impacted: Pine St., Arch St., 3rd St., Pearl St., E. King St., E. Poplar St., E., Spruce St., 4th St., E. Locust St., Beach St., 5th St., 6th St. The police department will be monitoring the area and taking educational enforcement steps as this change takes place.
